Why Vitae Vi exists
Vitae Vi is a wellbeing approach built around one simple idea.
You don't need to push harder.
You need to understand your body better.
Vitae Vi was created from two personal journeys shaped by challenge, recovery, and a deep belief in what the human body and mind are capable of when given the right conditions to thrive. We don't chase extremes. Instead, we create steady, supportive environments where people can regulate their nervous systems, sharpen their clarity, and reconnect wit their natural resilience. Our aim is simple. To help you feel calm, capable, and full present in your life again.


Dan Hughes
Dan's journey into this work was not theoretical. It was lived. In his late thirties, serious illness stopped him in his tracks. Years later, long COVID stripped him once again of strength, clarity and itality.
Breath became the turning point.
Through breathwork and the col immersion techniques of the Wim Hop Method, Dan didn't simple recover. He recalibrated. He rediscovered what the body is capable of when given the right stimulus, the right mindset, and the right environment. Today, Dan works with high-performing individuals, sports teams, business leaders, and organisations to develop calm strength, resilience, and clarity under pressure. His approach is focused, grounded, and human.
Karyn Hughes
Karyn's work is guided by something steady within.
Her journey began with a simple belief: paddle your own canoe. After leaving a successful career in the beauty industry, she created her own wellbeing space on the Isle of Wight, building a gym, studio, and treatment environment dedicated to helping people reconnect with their bodies.
Over time her work deepened.
Fitness became functional strength. Coaching becaome awareness. Therapies became integration. Today, Karyb blends reflexology, breathwork, movement, and nervous system awareness to help people restore balance and reconnect with themselves. Her work is intuitive, compassionate, and supportive.
